Gallery Tattoo was founded in 1999 out of the need to create one of the first professional studios specializing in tattoos and piercings in one of the most historic areas of Mexico City, establishing itself for over 22 years in the “Zona Rosa.” Its founders, Gabo “el Mexicano,” Héctor “Malas,” “Axl,” “Lucas,” and “Ponch,” have trained great tattoo and piercing artists within their team over the years, in addition to appearing on the most iconic shows of the era, collaborating for over two years on Vida TV with two regular tattoo and piercing segments hosted by Gabo and Malas, as well as advising COFEPRIS on training its inspectors at our facilities. Gallery Tattoo is one of the most iconic studios in Mexico City due to its long history, professionalism, and the artists who have emerged from it and are part of the history of tattooing and piercing in Mexico.
